Equestrian Canada Licensed Coach & Horse Trainer
Meaghan Lane
Meaghan is one of our Equine Canada Licensed Coaches, with over 20 years of riding experience, and 10 years in the show ring.
Meaghan always had a passion for horses, and started riding at the young age of seven. She began her early riding years as a jumper and always loved her time in the saddle, but found her true calling a few years later in the sport of dressage. Soon after she switched to training full time in dressage, and has since competed successfully in the show ring with frequent gold medal placing on the local circuit.
She obtained her licensed coach status in 2019, and is also a Certified Equine First Aid instructor, obtaining her license with EquiHealth in 2019.
Meaghan specializes in riding and coaching dressage and continues to pursue her training up the levels with her horses Paige and Lexi.
Equestrian Canada Licensed Coach & Horse Trainer
Alexandra Potts
Alexandra is one of our Equine Canada Licensed Coaches and has been involved in horses for over 17 years as a student, competitor and most recently as a coach.
Always having loved horses, Alexandra started lessons at the age of the 8 years old. Having been around horses at a young age, days at the barn were exciting; learning to care for horses and having regular lessons in dressage and in jumping.
After a few years of lessons, Alexandra began competing, and competed in the dressage, eventing and hunter ring. Alexandra brought home a number of medals over the years, with many gold medal placings.
In 2019 Alexandra accomplished her rider levels and became certified with Equestrian Canada as a Licensed Coach. While coaching at Serenity Equestrian Center, Alexandra also works part time as an equine veterinary assistant growing her knowledge in the equine world, and continues to train and compete in dressage with her horse Geronimo.
